I would like to become a tutor because I like helping people. I have never had the opportunity to become a tutor become I am enthusiastic for the chance to be one. One of the things that I feel I can help others with is Mathematics. Although I am an freshman engineering major, I feel that I have a good grasp on the foundations of math. In my high school I took Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and a semester of AP Calculus. I did very well in these classes and I am now taking Calculus I at Purdue University.
